Inlaid with boxwood lines and crossbanding, the rectangular tray top above a cylinder fall with star inlaid tablets, with a pull-out slide below inset with a leather writing surface, the fitted interior with pigeon-holes, short drawers and a cupboard door, with three long drawers and a shaped apron below, on outswept bracket feet, stamped from W. Williamson & Sons, Guilford, restorations to the veneer, one drawer has a paper label inscribed in ink Walker 1876-1885
