Lot Essay

The sitters are Susannah West Wilson (known as 'Totty') (1864-1943) and Ethel Mary Wilson (1865-1934), daughter of Arthur and Mary Wilson of Tranbury Croft near Hull.
Susannah married twice, firstly, John Graham Menzies and later Lt.Col. Sir George Lindsay Holford.
Ethel married Sir Edward Lycett Green, 2nd. Bart.
