In the Goanese style, inlaid overall with geometric ebony and ivory designs, with a moulded cornice and canted sides enclosed by a glazed panel door between grotesque animal mask stiles, the lower part fitted with a drawer stamped Edwards & Roberts, on characteristic mermaid caryatid supports with grotesque beasts joined by an undertier, on block feet, the lower part with water damage
