The rectangular case flanked by a partially clad classical lady shown leaning on a gadrooned urn, the stepped grey marble base with beaded borders and pierced foliate mounts, on toupie feet, the engine turned silvered dial bisected by a subsidiary seconds dial at XII, gilt moon hands (hour broken), the single barrel movement with silk suspension
