The case with brass handle to inverted bell top, glazed side panels, on block feet, the brass dial with strike/silent ring to the arch, foliate spandrels to the silvered chapter ring, the matted centre with recessed silvered panel signed Rich.d Motley WAPPING above mock pendulum aperture, with date aperture below, blued steel hands, the twin wire fusee movement with five pillars, verge escapement with hour strike on one bell and half hour passing strike (single blow) on smaller bell, pull trip repeat, with flower and scroll engraved backplate -- 19in.
