The ebony and satinwood line inlaid case with swan neck pediment, hygrometer above alcohol thermometer and central convex mirror within reeded ebonised slip, the 9in. silvered main dial engraved with a scene of a burning farmhouse to the centre (probably later embellished), the spirit level below signed D. Molinari Halesworth Warranted -- 43in. (111cm.) high
