"As a sculptor I aim to extract beauty, harmony and simplicity from matter. The materials I work with interest me because of their solidity, their resistance, fragility and nobility. Each one of them must speak for itself and establish a dialogue with the others. I have always been interested by nature and its materials, their skin, oxidation and transparency. It is them in their relations, affinities, and rejections that generate the making of the work."
