"A great work is not born from the whims of fashion, nor from reasons outside of the artists sensibility. In this sense, Londoo's work stems from his 'academic' past, but above all from the intimate sensibility which memory constructs from the ingredients of its surroundings; landscapes which cease to be landscapes, a decayed wall no longer a wall, dense textures formed on objects, colorations which take on the light of their changing daily phases. How can this sensibility be consolidated? Mystery surrounds the question. There is only one answer: the coherence which is suggested. Coherent with the will to modify itself within the broad limits of a personal sensibility, his work is inseparable not only from an important current which keeps reinforcing the painting, but also from an artistic sensibility which has been created in the midst of a suggestive internal rupture."
