Side A: a seated draped woman sits holding a fan in her left hand and a cista in her right, a naked youth stands in front leaning on a staff, his chlamys under his left arm, holding a mirror and a wreath with fillet, winged Eros flies between them above holding out a wreath and fluttering fillet, flowering plants, a fillet, rosettes, a quartered ball and an architectural pediment in the field
Side B: a naked youth sits on his chlamys, holding a branch with fluttering fillet and a grape bunch, a draped woman looks towards him, leaning on a pillar, holding a mirror and wreath with fillet, a fillet and rosettes in the field
A large palmette under each handle, meander and dotted squares below the groundline, frieze of rosettes and laurel wreath above, details in added yellow and white, repaired with chip to neck. Mounted in a domed glass display case with ebonised wood base
