A MYCENAEAN POTTERY STIRRUP JAR
CIRCA 1300-1100 B.C.
The spherical footed body with twin handles and vertical spout, remains of brownish-orange encircling stripes and imbricated frieze, chevrons and dots on the shoulder, repaired, 7 in. (19 cm.) high; another stirrup jar with squat globular body; and four jugs, all with similar banded decoration, some chips, all circa 1300-1100 B.C., 8 in. (20.3) cm. high max. (6)
