For another example of this artist's work, see Hugh Moss, Victor Graham and Ka Bo Tsang, The Art of the Chinese Snuff Bottle, The J & J Collection, Hong Kong, 1993, p. 730, no. 448. The authors note that he began by copying the works of Zhou Leyuan and that "it was not until 1916 that we see a subject which appears to be uniquely his own, a delightful river-side city scene with a multi-arched bridge and a succession of houses nestling amidst hills. Of the more decorative, purely commercial painters, however, he is one of the more amusing and consistent personalities"
