Judith with the head of Holofernes

The composition derives from the picture by Pignoni formerly in the collection of the Earl of Kintore; Sotheby's, London, 30 November 1983, lot 17. Another copy is in the Walters Art Gallery, Baltimore and another was sold Chrisite's South Kensington, 7 July 1999, lot 106.
