Signed Minko (Tsu, Ise Province, 1735-1816), Edo Period (Late 18th/Early 19th Century)
Of a powerfully modelled netsuke of a tiger, its head turned back to the right as it licks its back, its tail swept up along the length of its spine, katabori, wood with eyes inlaid in gilt metal with pupils in dark horn, signed Minko beneath the left leg with a kao beneath the right leg
