Burma, Arakan, 15th Century
Seated in dhyanasana and dhyana mudra on a flat-shaped cushion with lotus frieze over a stepped plinth, with a long flowing dhoti and cape, multi-stranded necklace with pendent jewels, his face with a benign expression with downcast eyes and full lips beneath an intricate foliate tiara, the bronze with a warm brown patina
