Maker's mark of John Carter, London, 1772
Comprising a hot water urn, coffee jug, covered sugar bowl and cream jug; each vase form on square pedestal foot with four ball supports, the rims applied with bead and reel border, with scrolling pistol handles with leaf joins, reeded and ribbon-tied angular spigot, the spool neck with domed cover and bud finial, engraved with a crest and a coat-of-arms within a ribbon and foliate cartouche, marked under bases and on neck of coffee jug
