A GEORGE III SILVER-GILT HONEY POT ON STAND
Maker's mark of Paul Storr, London, 1800
Realistically formed as a honey skep with coils of tied straw, the removable domed cover with a reeded ring finial, the circular stand with a tied reeded rim, the cover and stand engraved with a crest, the stand also engraved with script monogram HR, and block monogram H*R on reverse, marked under base, on rim of cover and reverse of stand
