Comprising drawings of brooches, rings, necklaces, bracelets, clips, etc. with various gemstones and metals, including a ruby, diamond and sapphire feather brooch, a gem-set butterfly brooch, an invisibly-set ruby and diamond twin flower bracelet, a series of important diamond ribbon bracelets, dated "Sept.'41"; and an important sugarloaf cabochon emerald and diamond bracelet; together with approximately thirty-four drawings and sketches in various conditions and seven photographs of finished pieces, one of the gem-set butterfly brooch; most bearing serial numbers, eight bearing the initials "J.R." in script, one signed Van Cleef and Arpels, one stamped "Van Cleef & Arpels, New York, 1939", one stamped in ink "Chaumet, 610 Fifth Avenue, New York", circa late 1930's and early 1940's
