Circa 1780
Comprising a canap and two fauteuils la reine, each with molded crestrail flanked by fruiting finials above an incurved padded back and bowed seat covered in 18th century close-nailed Aubusson tapestry depicting the Altar of Love, an amorous couple and a young gardener, within berried laurel wreaths and flower garland frame, on tapering part-fluted legs headed by panelled flowerheads
