With rectangular triple-hinged top centrally inlaid with a musical trophy flanked by ribbon tied floral sprays reversing to a mirrored panel and enclosing three compartments above a central frieze drawer and a small divided drawer over square tapering legs

Gilles Baron, matre 1751.

Although Baron died about 1770, his widow kept the workshop in operation and used his stamp until 1782.
