A pair of Hchst pastoral groups
Circa 1775, blue wheel marks
Modelled by J.P. Melchior, each with a farm-boy steadying an animal for a milkmaid, the first with a cow, the second with a goat, on shaped oval grassy rockwork mound bases (left group with restoration to his hat, cow's left horn and chip to edge of base, part of cow's right horn lacking, right group with restoration to his hat and goat's right horn and ear, goat's left horn lacking and small chip to its left ear, minute chipping to edge of base)
