Lydia Lopokova in Spanish costume

Lydia Lopokova was the principal ballerina of The Diaghilev Ballet which returned to London in the Autumn of 1918 generating great excitement. Lydia delighted audiences with her dancing and captivated all those who met her. She married Maynard Keynes in 1925.
