Details
A Minton two-handled oval game pie tureen and cover
moulded with a hare, moorhen and mallard on a bed of leaves with an oak branch handle, the lower section basket-moulded with oak leaves, the handles and feet moulded as branches, shape 668, impessed marks, year cypher for 1860 (chip to the ducks' wings on the cover, lacks liner) -- 34cm. wide; and a Wedgwood hexafoil oyster dish in the Palissy style, moulded with six oyster-shaped recesses, impressed marks and date code for 1871 (some staining) -- 18.5cm. diam.
