A SEVRES PINK-GROUND ECUELLE, COVER AND STAND (ECUELLE 'NOUVELLE FORME' ET PLATEAU 'OVALE')
Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter LL for 1788 and painter's mark for Cornailles, the ecuelle incised 13 and 37n, the stand incised 37 and 3
Painted in colours with trophies of love, formed by ribbon-tied bouquets, arrows, and a torch reserved on the pink ground further decorated in purple with rosettes, foliate scrolls and garlands within a beaded surround, the ecuelle handles as entwined foliate scrolls
