A MEISSEN IMARI OCTAGONAL PLATE
Circa 1740, blue crossed swords mark and painter's K for Kretzschmar within a double blue circle, Pressnummer 22
Painted in underglaze blue and enriched in the Imari palette with a vase of chrysanthemum and peony in a terrace within two concentric blue circles, the wide panelled border with phoenix, karashishi and flowerhead mon on a blue ground gilt with foliage, the reserve with trailing flowers
