The headboard and footboard with molded en chapeau crestrail centered with a carving surmounted by a ribbon tied garland and flanked by laurel, ivy, and myrtle branches, the former with two birds sitting on an egg-filled nest, the latter with crossed quiver and flaming torch, each crest and baserail with leaf-tip decoration flanked by square fluted ends stopped with chandelles, the tops and bases set with patterae, surmounted by a draped-leaf finial, on tapering stop-fluted feet and joined by leaf-tip carved side-rails, the padded headboard, footboard and side-rails covered with striped cream silk; together with two mattresses and two bolsters, one mattress without silk upholstery
