This may be by a Haarlem artist of the 1620s, working in the circle of artists like Dirck Hals and Willem Buytewech. The later inscription and date referring to Ochtervelt does not concur with the fashion of the clothes worn in this drawing, which should be dated in the first quarter of the seventeenth century.
