Apparently no maker's mark, only struck with 800; and maker's mark of Hemmo Hemmes Jr., Assen, 1883-1919
The box oval with openworked floral mounts and shaped clasp on the sides and scroll and foliage plaquette centered by two peacocks on the hinged cover, the bible with beaded floral and scroll mounts along the edges and openworked similar clasps, containing De gansche heilige schrift and Het boek der psalmen, Haarlem, 1870
