The blade honzukuri, iorimune, toriizori with extended chugissaki, forging pattern itamehada, tempered edge midare of nie with ashi, sunagashi, ji-nie, midare-komi boshi with hakikake, ubu nakago, 16.5/8in. (42.3cm.); in a mottled red lacquer says overlaid with a dragon in black lacquer, fuchi-kashira, tsuba kozuka of shibuichi deeply carved with undercut waves with gold spray, each piece with signature Omori Eishu, the kurikata and uragawara similarly decorated; with black wood stand
