Lot Essay

John was born in 1805 and was created Baron Tollemache of Helmingham in 1876. In 1826, he married Georgina Louisa (d. 1846), daughter of Thomas Best by his wife Lady Emily Stratford and had issue. He married secondly Eliza Georgina (d. 1918), daughter of James Duff (and step-daughter of 4th Baron Rendlesham) and by her had issue.
