Lot Essay

Gabriela Countess Kohry, ne Countess Cavriani (Vienna 1736-Vienna 1803) was the daughter of Maximilian Guidobald Count Cavriani, Obristhofmeister of Archduchess Marie Christine of Austria. The mother of the Hungarian Court Chancellor Franz Prince Kohary (1766-1826), she was the ancestor of many European princely families including Emperor Charles I of Austria.
