A MOLDED AMBER-GLAZED DISH
LIAO DYNASTY
With shallow, angled sides rising from a short foot, molded on the interior with a pattern of overlapping leaves below delicate scrolls around the rim, covered in a rich amber glaze darkening to garnet at the rim and stopping irregularly above the foot to expose the whitish ware, three spur marks to the interior--5 1/4in. (13.3cm.) diam.
