AN UNUSUAL RHINOCEROS HORN LIBATION CUP
17TH/18TH CENTURY

The interior and exterior well carved with large, veined leaves borne on a branch of Buddha's Hand citron which forms the handle at one end and also bears a large fruit on which the vessel rests, with subsidiary branches bearing smaller finger citrons rising toward the front of the vessel, of deep honey color on the exterior and dark reddish-brown on the interior, retaining a high polish, small restoration to rim--5¾in. (14.6cm.) long
