AN EARLY MING BLUE AND WHITE DISH

With shallow rounded sides rising from a slightly tapering foot to an everted rim, the centre of the interior painted in dark blue tones with a budding and flowering peony stem, the well with a continuous peony meander below classic scroll around the rim, the reverse with a continuous lotus meander, the cobalt of violet-blue tones with concentrated 'heaping and piling', old damage restuck
