AN UNUSUAL PAIR OF SMALL COPPER-RED DECORATED BLUE AND WHITE BOWLS
XUANDE SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A CIRCLE, KANGXI

Each thinly potted and freely painted inside and out in soft tones of underglaze blue with detached foliate sprays, the blossoms and buds executed in iron-red and all contained within blue line borders, minute rim nibbles--4 3/8in. (11cm.) diam. (2)
