The globular body surmounted by a long, tapering neck, deftly carved on the body with dense, meandering peony scroll and upright leaf tips on the neck, with a key pattern band at the shoulder, the rim with a cross-hatched and stylized pendent ruyi-head border, covered in a vitreous glaze of pale grayish-celadon tone darkening in the recesses--18¼in. (46.4cm.) high
