Cantenac (Margaux), 3me cru classé. Château-bottled
New château capsule. Bin-soiled and faded (original label). Level very top-shoulder. Recently re-corked at the château.
An exceptionally hot vintage like 1893, 1895 and 1982. After an excellent flowering, an hot summer and early harvest. Baked grapes, high sugar, alcohol and tannin. Some châteaux had difficulty controlling vinification, but many made outstanding wines.
