lithograph printed in colours, 1956, on wove paper, signed and inscribed 'Epreuve d'artiste' in pencil (over an erased inscription), an artist proof aside from the numbered edition of 75 (there were also a few artist's proofs in black only), published by Maeght, Paris, printed to the edges of the sheet, a deckle edge at the top and bottom, two small glue stains at the upper right, a short tear at the right sheet edge, very pale scattered foxing, taped in places on the reverse, framed
