A pair of Berlin (Funcke) green-lacquered fayence beaker vases
decorated in enamels and gilt with Oriental figures in exteriors and sprays of flowers between lappet-shaped panels, bands of stiff leaves and demi flowerheads, blue circle marks, circa 1720, the lacquer circa 1800 (one vase with broken and repaired sections to rim, chips and flakes to lacquer) -- 51cm. high
