'Tedds', a Steiff teddy bear
with blond mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced snout, swivel head, long jointed shaped limbs, felt pads, hump and button in ear --14in.(35.5cm.) tall, circa 1912 (new nose and mouth stitching, darning to snout, pads repaired, considerable overall wear); an original letter from the family providing history details, dated 1995, together with an original photograph of 'Tedds' owner, Margaret Helen Rayner taken 1913 (age 1 year) with 'Tedds' lying at her feet
