An Imari foliate rimmed dish
with moulded kiku head to the centre, painted and gilt with dragon roundels on a ground of jardinieres of flowers, pavilions and gardens of pine -- 13in. (34.3cm.) diam; a blue and white dish decorated with cranes in flight above foaming waves -- 12in. (31cm.) diam; a smaller dish with confronting dragons chasing a flaming pearl -- 8in. (22.2cm.) diam; and a pair of Imari dishes with bats in flight above the Three Friends within borders of entwined lotus flowers and leaves -- 9in. (24.8cm.) diam, all 19th Century. (5)
