Lot Essay

This pin was presented by the Duke of Gloucester, who served in the 10th Hussars, to WO 1 SF Seekings, of the 13th/18th Hussars. The accompanying illustration shows the Duke, carrying a sword of the special 10th Hussar pattern, evidently being instructed in sword-drill by WO 1 Seekings.
