Lot Essay

Sold with a wartime newspaper cutting which refers in detail to the recipient's gallantry in a flak-damaged Halifax returning from a raid on Leverskusen.

Jackson, a graduate of Patterson College, was in his final year as an apprentice to a chemist business in Wyandotte and Glengarry, when he enlisted for the Royal Canadian Air Force.
