Flight Lieutenant B. Day served with No. 60 (Bomber) Squadron in India between 1937-38 and is believed to have been an Air Gunner at this time. Commissioned as a Pilot Officer in October 1944, he retired as a Flight Lieutenant in the Equipment Branch in August 1961.
