AN RARE AND IMPORTANT EARLY AMERICAN BRASS TWO-TEIRED SHOT MOULD
by Nathaniel Dominy V, East Hampton, Long Island 1779
Formed of two brass arms each cherried with 34 small cavities to cast shot of various diameters (.19 through .29 calibres). Hinged with iron pin, cut with two trough channels of pouring lead, each arm mounted with wood handle. Engraved NDominy.1779. on one side.
