A Klamath with slightly indented top and flaring sides, woven in fern, pine root, bear grass, maiden fern and quills, decorated with terraced triangles composed of checkerboard motifs; a Klamath, with rounded top and flaring sides, woven in fern, pine root, bear grass and maiden fern, decorated with diagonals composed of right triangles; Hupa with flat top and flaring sides, woven in fern, pine root, bear grass and maiden fern, decorated with a band of linked elongated T designs, surmounted by two narrow bands, surmounted by a band of elongated T designs; Yokuts with slightly rounded base and sides, woven in sedge and bracken fern, decorated with a band of linked diamond motifs enclosing hourglass designs
