Oblong 4to, each carte loosely inserted in gold-bordered mounts, four to a page, brown morocco, covers elaborately blind tooled, with brass clasps. Partial contents: Lincoln, Vice-President Hamlin, Mary Lincoln, Stephen A. Douglas, Jefferson Davis, Seward, Cameron, Stanton, Welles, Winfield Scott, McClellan, Rosecrans, Fremont, McDowell, Dix, Banks, Oliver Elsworth, Edward Baker, Burnside, John Ericsson, Andrew Johnson, Robert Anderson, Commodore Paulding, Captain Wilkes, Commodore Dupont, Samuel Colt (seated, holding top hat), Colonel Berdan "sharpshooter", James Buchanan. An excellent selection, all in fine condition, most apparently from Brady negatives.
