With browned twist sighted barrels inscribed 'Needham's Patent' in gold on the rib, signed case-hardened scroll engraved locks with locking-lever on the right, action inlaid with silver-lined maker's stamp 'Needham's Patent London 628', walnut stock chequered at the grip and fore-end, silver escutcheon, and engraved blued iron mounts (refinished throughout): in associated relined and refitted brass-bound mahogany case containing some reloading accessories, the exterior with flush-fitting carrying-handle, Birmingham proof marks
