The ebony rectangular case with brass and mother-of-pearl inlay and a central brass cartouche, the interior fitted and inscribed Novrat rue Neuve des Capucines, Paris and compromising: four ivory hair brushes with twisted handles, a pair of ivory clothes brushes, two circular ivory lidded pots and another large one, two glass rectangular boxes with white metal lids, two similar circular pots, a glove stretcher, with a fitted drawer beneath containing various manicure implements including a miniature ivory mirror, penknife and scissors
