A mahogany and marquetry cylinder bureau, late 19th/early 20th century
The top with oval panelled inlay containing three drawers in the superstructure, the fall with palmette and foliate scroll inlay trailing husk garlands enclosing a fitted interior with satinwood fronted drawers and pigeon holes and slide divided into three leather slopes and hinged compartments, the central leather hinged ratcheted adjustable slope containing five drawers in the arched apron, on square tapering legs with brass caps and castors, the lock inscribed J T Needs 186 Piccadilly, J Bramah Lock 104 Piccadilly
Also S H Jewel stencil Holborn stamped Edwards and Roberts on the top of the drawer Cope and Collinson and the locks
