attributed to the vatican funnel group
circa 330-300 b.c.
One side with a standing draped and winged woman, perhaps Vanth; the other side with a beardless young satyr walking to the left, carrying a large striped cushion, nude but for high boots, his tail curving up behind; the shoulder with a band of funnelled tongues, a band of meander below the scenes, palmettes and volutes below the handles, some details in added white
